Sunlight Thru The Trees

This is my first "Painting A Day" effort. Sunlight Thru The Leaves was inspired by a similar scene outside of my dining room window. While I was eating breakfast the rising sun caught the leaves just right to make them translucent. I couldn't wait to do this painting and I'm sure it will be the source of many other works.

The beginning

This is my first post of many to come. My first painting should be posted in another day or so. It will be offered up for auction on eBay at an opening bid of $95. Should it not sell it will be available for $80 thereafter. Since I will be in a traveling mode most of the time I may not be able to post every day but I will do my best. I plan to do scenes of the places I visit during our wanderings. This should be fun. Here is an example of my work. This is an 8"x10" on canvas mounted on board unframed and is available from my website at my normal pricing.
