This is my first "Painting A Day" effort. Sunlight Thru The Leaves was inspired by a similar scene outside of my dining room window. While I was eating breakfast the rising sun caught the leaves just right to make them translucent. I couldn't wait to do this painting and I'm sure it will be the source of many other works.

The painting is created with professional Winsor Newton oils on a 6" x 8" MDF 1/2" panel which has been archivally primed. The 1/2" edges are painted black so the painting looks great hung as is without framing. Finally the painting has been varnished to protect the surface. These smaller paintings are scanned so the color is very close to the original however, monitors do vary so I absolutely guarantee your complete satisfaction.
